How's a retired cop spend his birthday? Shootin' stuff of course.
Hardly tip of the spear, but it's my life for the moment.

Details, man, details!! What are those lovely wheelguns?
And happy birthday, from a fellow old fossil!
Thanks.
On the left is a Colt Officers Model Match, .38 Special, manufactured in 1962. One of my grail guns I was able to acquire last year.
On the right in a nickel plated S&W Model 29-2, manufactured in 1979, that I picked up at a gunshow this last spring. This one needed a little TLC in the form of a general tune up to get it running right, but nothing I couldn't handle. This is my favorite handgun and I play with it more than I really should.

Happy birthday and what nice revolvers!

If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.
Congrats on the beautiful pieces, and happy birthday!

Happy Birthday!
There's just something about a 4" Model 29-2....

That Colt OM you have just rekindles the lust I have for a nickel .38 4" Trooper made in my birth year. A Colt 3-5-7 would be even better but way out of my price range and no nickel ones were made in '58, I am told....
