Anyone bought a French LEO Model 10?

My willpower is weakening. Has anybody bought one? If so, how are they mechanically?

Not yet, but is seems like it would be a good base for a project.

I’m tempted to run one in IDPA just for the gawk factor.

I wondered how long it would take. (I should be congratulated on my restraint. )

Though, Hambo, the French take appearance seriously. Do you think they'd allow scratches and dings on their weapons. Jamais!!!

Indeed you should. I really have no problem buying French guns, it's just that the one in the photo looks like it got tossed out of a 2CV

I've got a MR 73 allegedly surplus from Vienna PD with those Trausch grips.
Comfortable to the right size hand - like mine - they are touchy to get a grip on in a hurry.

I'd strongly recommend them almost on the basis of the Trausch grips alone; they're exceptionally ergonomic, used or not, and getting increasingly rare. Best, Jon
