Wow, yes she has. 1-for-1 on almost all the steel, and very smooth. There's an obvious increase in her speed and aggression (and possibly confidence?) over the course of the video. I predict another "level up" when she figures out how to release those skills on every stage.

Nicely done George, whose open blaster are you shooting this season?
I shot my first IDPA match in nearly 10 years, competing in two divisions, CO and ESP. (This match allows two entries per competitor). I used my carry guns from AIWB: Prograde CZ P-07/EPS and P-07/irons. I have not shot irons seriously for over two years, and was interested in how atrophied my skills would be. I also wanted to test my skills with my carry guns.
The first stage was a Mozambique standards, and my iron sights run was a disaster. I racked up 15 points down by not seeing my rear sight at all.
After that, I got my head out of my ass and the match went well, and I took 3rd overall with the CO gun, behind two M class guys shooting a gamerized 2011 and a Legion.
My irons scores were about 5% below my dot scores.
I shot better with the irons gun on two stages. One was a hoser/activator drop turner, and the other was a pretty tough standards stage with a 20yd partial.
The take-home for me is that irons (shooting target focus) require a bit more confirmation, but at IDPA speeds (at least at the level I can shoot it), there’s less of a deficit than for USPSA.
