    "Liberal Tears" bacon-scented gun oil

No kidding. I am at once both intrigued and slightly appalled. Who's tried this stuff?

I have tried this. I received a handful of samples at the Gulf Coast IDPA Championship.

What can I say. It's oil. But it is also bacon scented and has a great name.

I keep the small samples in my range bag. It seems to work just fine. I am not too much of an oil snob though. I keep stuff like this around to keep things slippery between cleanings. I use grease when I put back together on high wear parts. I have not noticed anything negative about this and it doesn't cause any reaction with the other stuff I use. (Amsoil synthetic grease)

Try adding some bacon flavored oil to it.

I dunno. I'd rather have my guns smell like bacon than my bacon smell like guns.

As someone who uses Hoppe's #9 as an aftershave, I'm not sure I'd like this.
