When the thread on the 640PRO was really going strong, it gave me the wants for a "factory upgraded" snubby. 640 PRO's couldn't be found by my dealer at the time, so I settled for a Wiley Clapp SP101. Holy crap do I love that gun. After I got it I never gave the 640PRO a second thought. If Rugers custom shop ends up being a true custom shop, I'll likely send in the WC SP101 to be converted to DAO, but other than that, I think it's just about ideal for a 5 shooter you can comfortably shoot all day long.

Not a revolver guy, but always liked the look of the GP100.
I like stainless. I like nice triggers.
I prefer revolvers that start with .4 though .44 Mag, .454, etc. I can shoot little stoff like 9mm in an auto. If I want to shoot BIG stuff then a revolver or a lever gun seems a great way to do it, short of long range rifles.
Sadly I like the shorter revolvers and the short barrels tend to neuter the benefits of the larger calibers.
