    Thanks! I cut the barrel down. Used a hacksaw then a facing reamer to true it up. Finished with a 45 degree crown.

    How did you attach the sight ? Solder ? Weld ?

    Solder. Used a woodruff key for the blank. Used the lower temp solder from Brownells. I really like that stuff, works great on 1911 stake on sights also.
