Arcteryx Kneecaps are outstanding. I don't think they go on and real sale but if you're going to use them for any substantial length of time its worth paying full price. I have also heard positive reviews of the soft inserts to wear inside 5.11 pants with the special knee pockets.

Those knee pads are by far the best I’ve used. Some asshole stole mine at USPSA Nationals in 2016 and I had to buy another set.

I thought they were one of the retail outlets that made a show of dropping ARs from their inventory and making sure they appealed to the "progressive" crowd. I'll admit I have trouble keeping up. Though I know I sent correspondence to REI and a follow-up after I was less than satisfied by their response.

They never dropped them. They have them right now.

I dunno, I've never ordered from Academy before. Hell of a deal on ammo though - $84 shipped (-$20 rebate) (-8% cash back).

Despite being about 2 miles from one of their stores I have ordered ammo from them before. Quick and painless.

Different stores carry different stuff. It’s eaaier to just order when they have a deal than driving store to store.

They never stopped selling them. But they did pull them from from being on display. You had to ask the counter guy to see any black rifle.

Anyone have tips on stand mixers? KitchenAid is the de facto standard, right? My wife wants one so it can sit on the counter and never be used.
