Millett (back in the days when they actually made sights....) had a very nice rear and front sight set-up that you could get either individually or as a set. The rear sight appears to be pretty similar to Bowen's Target sights.
On my GP100, I have the complete set, on my Security Six, I went with just the front sight, which, on both is their Orange Bar, which is about as bright as a fiber optic, and a heck of a lot more durable.
Probably available to a limited extent on ebay and the other similar suspect sites.

I put this sight on my S&w 19-3

Works pretty well, much better than the factory one.

I'm sure the Bowen and Weigand rear sights provide excellent sight pictures, but both look like a snag during the draw, waiting to happen. For sure carrying concealed. And unless the Bowen now has more rounded corners than the last one I saw, that's a gouged forearm waiting to happen too. Just sayin'!

I have one on my 6 inch revolver so pretty much a target gun. I doubt the stock sights would be much better at the snaging and gouging [emoji3]

When I recently re-sighted the rear sight on my Security Six, I just used the current Ruger revolver adjustable rear sight. They're well made, and Ruger provided it to me gratis, but even of you have to pay for them, they're inexpensive. The Ruger sight blade is a bit better shielded than comparable OEM Smith & Wesson blades. I'm pretty sure that Ruger uses an aluminum sight body; Bowen uses steel.
Both Bowen sights (Target and Rough Country) are $100+, and then there's installation; I don't know if they need to be fitted; the Ruger ones are a drop-in proposition.
