Thanks for the memories, Stan. Excelsior!
A long and remarkable career... thanks and well done, Sir!
When Hugh Hefner died, I jokingly called him a great American and my wife said, "Pffsh, Stan Lee is way cooler."
This hits me more than a random vapid celebrity. I was a comic dork before it was cool. Godspeed, Mr. Lee. 'Nuff said!
His voice announcing the start of Spider-Man on Saturday mornings is part of the soundtrack of my childhood. Seeing his cameos in the MCU movies has long been a treat.
He will be missed. God speed, Stanley.
Another icon of my misspent youth gone. RIP, sir. And thank you.
There's nothing civil about this war.
It’s the end of an era. What a great, creative career though.

Another creative talent gone, but he was also good about encouraging the next generations of comic artists. A life well lived.
Thank you for all the entertainment over the years.
A man whose fame transcends simply being an entertainer. The characters he helped spawn were human, fallible and relatable while still demonstrating a capacity for larger than life heroism. I may not be much of a comic book nerd but I enjoyed greatly the other Marvel-centric vessels for immersive story-telling.
RIP Stan Lee.
