Multiple rib fractures are dangerous in people her age. Mortality from more than 2 rib fxs starts at about 20% and the odds ratio for death increases by about 1.2 for every additional rib broken.

This is why I admit elderly patients with multiple rib fx to the Trauma Intermediate Care or Trauma ICU for epidural analgesia.
I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.
I sure hope, that as a sitting Associate Supreme Court Justice, Justice Ginsburg is getting good medical care. I cannot imagine how painful three broken ribs are, let alone the possible impacts to her health. I hurt just thinking about it.
85 and 3 busted ribs? No Bueno.
Are you now, or have you ever been a member of the Doodie Project?
I do not wish suffering and pain on her but it is going to be interesting the heroics the left will take to keep her alive and on the bench. In a kinder gentler world some sort of “good faith” nomination could be worked out for her to retire but I don’t see that happening.
Shouldn't have taken the new guy up on his keg stand offer at her age.

People, especially younger people, were offering the octogenarian affectionately known as RBG their own ribs on social media Thursday morning. They even started the hashtag #RibsForRuth on Twitter.

We could isolate Russia totally from the world and maybe they could apply for membership after 2000 years.
Truly unfortunate that Justice Ginsburg suffered this fall and injury. I hope she makes a full recovery. And then promptly announces her retirement from the court.
