Myeh...it’s the future. Or, I guess, the present. While I’ve never done it, I’d have no problem with it. But I also wouldn’t get into a stranger’s vehicle without a way to get out and/or defend myself.
My BIL drives for Uber. According to him, it’s the liquored up cougars you gotta watch out for.
I'm assuming they were just #believing .
Or, maybe in the second telling, it sounded more threatening than while on the phone with dad.

I think it is interesting that several of the articles say "A person posing as a Uber driver" vice an Uber driver. I think it is kind of how the media reports green on blue attacks as a "Afghan posing as a ANA/ANP member" when it was a person in the ANA or ANP who did the deed.
