Welcome to Africa, bring a hardhat.
I haven't handled one yet, but I am interested -- this is basically the gen 2 or gen 3. They've apparently addressed some issues in the early models and this optics-ready version is able to mount optics a lot lower than MOS. They switched from full ambi mag release for a left or right side swap-able style. Reportedly, the full ambi mag release was difficult, especially with a full magazine.
CZ’s is an LE player outside the U.S. I don’t think they have put in for many large U.S. contracts.
The CZ P-01 has a NATO Stock number and is used by several euro police agencies. The Egyptian national police use the P07.
I’m too invested in Glocks to start over with CZ but CZ is certainly a quality brand.
I am super excited as these pistols might allow me to recycle all the extra P07/09 magazines I have.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.
The fact that i can somehow miss the trigger safety while running the trigger on my first knuckle killed any interest I had in the P10 range.
I think a factory optics read subcompact is genius though
