Aimpoint S1 on a vent rib: question..

Is it possible to get a half-assed co-witness with the bead? I say half-assed because I imagine you'd have to raise your cheek, and be hitting high, but can it serve in a pinch at close range..?

The S1 does indeed get low enough that you can see the bead through it, at least on a Benelli M2.

You can see it, but it is nowhere near poa/poi on my 870.

Half assed at best.
