Dem Operative Attacks Female GOP Staffer in NV

Dem operative for Soros-funded group arrested for 'battery' against Nevada GOP candidate's campaign manager

“He grabbed my right arm, my leg was lodged between the door and the wall. He twisted my arm, and contorted it behind my back,” she explained. “I was scared. Every time I tried pulling away, he would grab tighter, and pull me closer into him.”

Davison said Stark pulled her head into his chest, bruising her neck, and held her there for several minutes. She said it “felt like an hour.”
Someone's gonna find room temperature if this crap keeps up.

Looks like this occurred after Hillary's "cannot be civil" statement. I think this qualifies as not being civil.

My take is that things are going to (counter-intuitively) calm down after the election, should the Republicans keep (or exceed) their current numbers in office.

A lot of political outrage is fanned in the hopes that the more radical fringe elements will put down their bongs and vote. Instead, the unintended consequence may well result in the middle turning out and voting "R", because they're annoyed at the screeching of radicals and socialist.

And should the "Blue Wave" not materialize, expect to see the Democratic party do an about face from the young (and stupid) Occasional-Cortex open Socialist types, and return to the "Blue Dog" traditional Democratic values strategy that was very successful in 2006.

Wow, this reminds me of one of the books I read. I'm thinking one of Matthew Bracken's works.

Anyway - in it, a pro gun lobbyist is walking the halls of some official building when a anti-gun woman attacks lobbyist who retorts with judo or something.

Hope we get off this path we're on, otherwise I could see us ending up like the Balkans in the 90's. Did the conservative side ever do anything like this when BHO was in office?

I genuinely hope you’re right, but given the response to the 2016 election and the current climate I fear another win for Republicans will stoke the fire that much more.

The reason the fire was stoked was to keep the outrage high among the Democratic base. They could then turn that disgust into a "Blue Wave".

But, if the outrage turns into losses for the Democratic party, then the party and others who are tied into the interest of the Democratic party will need to change their tune.
After all, the only real ideology that politicians truly believe is getting elected. If trying to appeal to a fairly small % of Leftist Radicals isn't going to work, then they're out of work- so they will need to change their tune.
