I will say this is a good example for "fuck around and find out".
That may well apply to each of the individuals involved.
There's nothing civil about this war.

Not necessarily anything new or surprising other than the article popping up in an IT security news aggregator I follow:

    Violence As A Service

A 21-year-old New Jersey man has been arrested and charged with stalking in connection with a federal investigation into groups of cybercriminals who are settling scores by hiring people to carry out physical attacks on their rivals. Prosecutors say the defendant recently participated in several of these schemes — including firing a handgun into a Pennsylvania home and torching a residence in another part of the state with a Molotov Cocktail...

Somebody needs to throw away that police media person’s thesaurus.

Police say the man is occupying a light blue Infiniti with a red dealer tag and a rear window busted out. He is armed and dangerous.

It's not his. He's occupying it. Like Wall Street.

Even if you’re shot in the head, don’t give up. It also confirms my bias to consider how easy a gun will be to use after you’ve been physically diminished and not just while you’re feeling fresh and standing on your hind legs at the range.

One Alabama man died and another was injured Friday night after the two exchanged gunfire at a boat ramp in Fairhope, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said.

Baldwin County Deputies and Fairhope Police responded to the end of County Road 1 around 9:30 p.m. on a call about a shooting, said Capt. Clint Cadenhead. Officers found two men, one of whom was shot in the head. The injured man was transported by Life Flight to a hospital in Mobile. The other man, Gregory Johnson, 50, of Fairhope, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators believe there was an altercation at the boat ramp, involving Johnson and an unidentified female. When another man tried to intervene, Johnson pulled out a handgun and shot the man in the head, authorities said. The other man had his own firearm and shot back at Johnson, who was struck multiple times and died.

A 17 year old TX male in the Houston area (Channelview) grabbed a shotgun and fired several times, killing two masked armed men who were attempting to invade his home and sending a third fleeing.

"The investigators determined both victims and a third unidentified male, while armed and wearing masks, had attempted to break into a home occupied by an adult female, a 12-year-old boy and two 17-year-old boys. "
