McDonald's employee in St. Louis is shot in French fry dispute, police say
The victim was hospitalized with a minor wound and was later released

A Missouri woman accused of shooting a McDonald’s restaurant employee has been criminally charged, officials said.

Terika Clay, 30, of St. Louis, was charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action after she allegedly shot an unidentified employee after an argument over a discount on French fries escalated, FOX 2 of St. Louis reported.

The incident initially started when Clay pulled up to the drive-thru and argued with the victim, who was working the drive-thru window, over the price of the French fries. Clay then threatened to shoot the victim, court documents said, according to the report.

Sometime later, the victim went on break and left the restaurant, where Clay was waiting. Clay confronted the victim then struck and shot the victim — all on surveillance cameras, Normandy police said, FOX 2 reported. The victim was hospitalized with a minor wound and was later released.

Clay was being held on $150,000 bond, though she has a bond reduction hearing is scheduled next week, FOX 2 reported. Clay was not permitted to make contact with the victim or be within 1,000 feet of the victim or the restaurant, a judge ordered, according to the report.

WHATABURGER PARKING LOT MURDER SUSPECT HELD 5-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER BEFORE SHOTS RANG, FAMILY SAYS
Darius Sims is charged with murder after 19-year-old Daniel Thompson was shot and killed in northwest Houston.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The family of Darius Sims, who is charged in the murder of a 19-year-old recent high school graduate, told Eyewitness News that an existing conflict with the victim's brother led to the deadly shootout in the parking lot of a Whataburger in northwest Houston.

Daniel Thompson was shot and killed on Tuesday outside of the restaurant located along the U.S. 290 service road near Hollister. Police said 27-year-old Sims, who was also wounded in an exchange of gunfire, was arrested after he drove away and went to a hospital.

On Wednesday, Sims appeared in Harris County Probable Cause Court where his bond was set at $200,000.

In the wake of the shooting, families of both Sims and Thompson have spoken to ABC13.

According to Sims' family, Thompson, who may have been off work on the day of the shooting, was called to the restaurant by his brother to confront Sims, who showed up with his 5-year-old daughter. The family claims Thompson punched Sims and may have also hit his daughter in the process inside the restaurant.

The incident spills out into the parking lot, where a witness records a shirtless Thompson squaring up on Sims while the victim's brother tries to hold Thompson back.

The video then shows Sims appearing to shoot Thompson, who detectives said was not armed. Thompson was hit point blank in the face before collapsing, at which point, Sims was recorded unloading on the victim.

Police said after Thompson was wounded, his brother went over to his vehicle, grabbed a gun, and shot back at Sims.

According to his family, Sims felt in fear of himself and his daughter. The family added that they are not condoning or justifying what Sims is accused of, but they offered to tell their side to Eyewitness News.

Meanwhile, more details emerged about Thompson's life. The victim's family said on top of his impending start to military service, he had a baby girl on the way. Thompson also lost his mother in 2020.

I dunno about that. There was a prior confrontation and the perp was standing there already holding his pistol at his side when the victim decided to square up and escalate.

I am aware specifically the deceased striking the shooters five-year-old daughter while attempting to assault the shooter on behalf of some beef between the shooter and the deceased brother.

Which is a form of posturing. The shooter went from posturing to fight/violence very quickly.

People think in terms of fight or flight but in my experience the real model is fight, flight, posture, submit.

In some places confrontations like this occur regularly and never escalate beyond the posture stage.

While illegal, on a moral basis, I’ve seen a lot of people shot over a lot less than hitting someone else’s 5 year old daughter.

    Texas hasn’t changed that much….

All I have to say is that $200.000.00 is not nearly enough.

Man Arrested After Firing a Gun During Road Rage Incident

On January 22, 2022, at approximately 4:49 PM, the Lebanon Police Department received a report about a man driving a Chevrolet Tahoe who attempted to drive a Toyota RAV4 off the road and then aimed and shot a handgun at the operator of the RAV4.

The two vehicles were traveling North on Meriden Road when the RAV4 attempted to pass the Tahoe in a passing zone. The Tahoe swerved at the RAV4, almost forcing the vehicle off the road. As the two vehicles continued North and reached Laplante Road, the man in the Tahoe shot a .44 magnum revolver through his own rear window at the RAV4, however, the bullet did not strike the RAV4.

The responding Officers were able to locate the Tahoe on Meriden Roadd a short time later, and identified the operator as Donald Delisle, age 50, from Cornish, NH. Delisle was taken into custody and his .44 magnum revolver and a 16-gauge pump shotgun were seized from Delisle’s vehicle.

Delisle was charged with Reckless Conduct with a Deadly Weapon, Unauthorized Use of a Firearm, Criminal Threatening with A Firearm, and Attempted Murder. Delisle was held on Preventative Detention at the Grafton County House of Corrections and will be arraigned on January 24, 2022.

Duluth gun store owner shot by employee after argument, cops say

Duluth police are investigating a shooting at a gun store Wednesday afternoon that involved the owner and an employee, officials said.

Detectives are on the scene at Gun Lobby at 3931 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, police said in a tweet. The two men were taken to the hospital and were stable. The owner was shot twice, while the employee requested to be taken to the hospital due to a heart condition, Channel 2 Action News reported.

According to Channel 2, the men became involved in an argument immediately before the shooting. Both were carrying guns, and the employee told police at the scene that he fired on the owner because he feared the owner would shoot first, the news station reported.

The owner was shot in the arm and side, according to Channel 2, and the other store employees rendered first aid.
