This happened a few hundred yards of the intersection of I-70 and I-75, in an area with a bunch of shopping, dining, and hotels that has started to attract a buttload of transient and narcotics related crime. I went to one of the community comment meetings when there were needing to pass a levy in order to keep the PD and many of the local natives voiced the suggestion that "they should just get rid of that Walmart, none of this stuff used to happen". Me being me I have to suggest that since all that commercial property is taxed like my residence, and if it wasn't there we would not be having a discussion about keeping the PD, it would not have existed for a long time.

Near as I can tell from a bit of research, this occurred in a fairly nice area off Rt 54 near Lutz, about 5 miles from where i used to live. Costco, Best Buy, etc. It ain’t exactly the Hood.
From the various local reports, there seems to be ‘a relationship’ between the parties mentioned.
At any rate, it’s a good result for the homeowner.
