Here is another case of a "robbery gone bad."
You have to dig down to find just who the robbery went bad FOR.
And there is nothing said about just what the robbery victim was summoned to the crime scene FOR.
But, overall, it came out well.

HCSO investigating after man shot at robbery suspects in west Harris Co.

The attempted armed robbery happened around 2:30 p.m in a busy parking lot of a Randall's store on Fry Road.

Detectives believe the suspects were "juggers," who followed the couple from a bank across the street.

The husband fired four rounds, hitting both men, according to deputies.

The suspects got into the getaway car and pulled onto Fry Road, where the vehicle crashed out, leaving two men to run off on foot.

Criminals who sit in vehicles in or near bank parking lots looking for possible victims leaving a bank who carry bank or paper bags, briefcases, satchels or the like, then rob them at their first stop after leaving the bank.

Man fatally shot by officers after taking police stun gun, using it on officer, police say

SAN ANTONIO - A man was shot dead by police Wednesday after he took an officer's stun gun and used it on the officer, police said.

Authorities were responding to a call regarding a suspicious person in the area of Northwest Loop 410 and Austin Highway on the Northeast Side. Police Chief William McManus said a citizen reported seeing the man taking license plates off of Cadillac on the access road by Loop 410 East and Interstate 35.

McManus said the Cadillac came back as stolen.

When officers approached the man, they said they felt they needed to handcuff him for their own safety. McManus said the man resisted, prompting one officer to deploy his stun gun, but that was ineffective and the suspect wrestled the weapon from the officer and used it on the officer.

McManus said a cover officer shot the suspect multiple times and the suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, the man was reaching into his pocket when he was shot. Police said he had a knife in his pocket.

According to McManus, detectives on scene recognized the suspect as a serial burglar.

Man shot by police after he fires gun multiple times near bicyclist, bus

SAN ANTONIO - A man in his 30s was shot by police after he fired a handgun multiple times, including firing at a bicyclist in the area of a bus, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said Thursday.
The latest incident happened early Thursday around 8:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of South Pleasanton Road.

According to San Antonio Police Chief William McManus, the suspect had begun firing a handgun just south of East Southcross when he began to fire at a man on a bicycle near the bus.

McManus said the man on the bicycle looped behind the bus for cover, attempting to avoid as many as eight shots. There were three people onboard the bus at the time of the shooting, but no one was hurt.

McManus said officers were already in close proximity and responded within minutes.

As one officer pulled his vehicle over he experienced a flat tire, likely the result of gunfire, McManus said.

Gunfire was then exchanged by both the suspect and the officers, with the suspect being hit at least once. EMS was called to the scene.

The unidentified suspect was taken to an area hospital for his injuries. McManus said a motive for all the shooting remains unclear.

One officer had glass in his eye as as result of the incident and had to be treated by EMS crews.

Damn. She sounds fairly squared away. She used cover/concealment. She proactively moved the clientele to cover. She engaged a subject armed with a long arm (supposedly an AK47) with a pistol and prevailed. She carries a tourniquet and (apparently) used it on the subject.
