Officer was hit on the right side as he hit the door with a ram (they were stacked up and he was on the right side of the door). Bullet traversed across his chest between skin and vest, stopping mid sternum. Gun fight then ensued. Suspect caught one in the bean from a Glock 22.

Fixed link for the Central Michigan University story. My boss has a police radio scanner app on his smartphone and we've been listening to the hunt for the shooter all day.
Multiple OIS in the Phoenix Metro area today. Two involved US Marshall TFs and the third was Homeland Security. All three suspects were killed.
One Glendale Sergeant who was attached to the Marshalls was shot trying to arrest a wanted fugitive. Phoenix SAU shot and killed the suspect after locating him in a backyard.
