Man killed in shooting outside Orlando U.S. immigration building; suspect in custody
A man was shot to death Monday morning outside an Orlando office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the alleged gunman was later arrested after a short car chase ending in Kissimmee, according to the Orlando Police Department.
Orlando police spokesperson Lt. Diego Toruno said the man was walking with a woman toward the federal building on Corporate Centre Boulevard near Lee Vista Boulevard shortly before 10 a.m. when a vehicle pulled up and a man opened fire. Toruno did not identify any of the three people involved.
The woman escaped without injuries, but the man she was with died at the scene, Toruno said. The alleged shooter then drove away from the building.
Orlando police officers soon located the suspect’s vehicle, chasing him for at least 20 miles until they caught up in Kissimmee, where he was arrested.
Karman Grewal, who was associated to the United Nations gang, was gunned down in a brazen public execution at Vancouver International Airport. UN gang has been locked in a bloody war with rivals from the Brothers Keepers and Red Scorpion gangs for years. One high-profile Brothers Keepers posted a cryptic message on his Instagram after the shooting suggesting it was in retaliation for the hit on BK member Harb Dhaliwal in Vancouver last month.

Tragically, I understand that one officer was fatally injured. The status of the other officer has not been publicized.

The fallen Detective, Luca Benedetti, was an excellent fellow shooter at the SLOSA range. I shot several matches with him years ago. He was Expert rated or better in IDPA. He was a really nice guy who was always willing to help. May he rest in peace. He leaves a wife and two young daughters behind. A GoFundMe page has been set up by his peers. https://gofund.me/fa6f5eec

I missed this by about a minute. Gf and I parked a few blocks away, as I’m feeding the meter all the cruisers started pouring in. A gent walking away from the scene said he heard the shots and saw the vic clutching his stomach on the sidewalk.
Good times in ManchVegas.
