Between video surveillance and witnesses, detectives found that Santana was heavily intoxicated and was trying to force his way into the home. Homeowner 45-year-old Yang Luan was attempting to restrain Santana from entering the home when a "significant fight" began near the front door, authorities said.

Yuhui Zheng, 50, went upstairs to get a revolver that she had just bought one day prior and in "self-defense of her husband, fired all rounds," authorities said.

Kidnapped teen killed during dad's shootout with police: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article...nardino-killed

Her dad killed her mother yesterday and kidnapped her. He shot at police during a chase that ended in a crash. She was running towards police wearing tactical gear when she was shot. The only firearm found was with the father inside the pickup.

He fortunately is doing well and got out of Harborview today. He had a police, fire, department of corrections and WSDOT escort and a nice crowd lining the route when he rolled into town today.

Officer shoots, injures man who hit him with vehicle at North Side McDonald's

A police officer shot and injured a man who hit him with his vehicle in a McDonald's parking lot on the North Side on Sunday night, according to San Antonio Police Chief William McManus.

The police chief said the officer was responding to an unrelated disturbance call at the fast food restaurant located near the intersection of Blanco Road and West Avenue at around 10:45 p.m. when he spotted a vehicle he had attempted to stop the night before.

When the officer attempted to contact the driver of that vehicle, the car attempted to pull away, McManus said.

As the officer approached on foot, the man hit him on one of his legs with the vehicle, prompting the officer to fire multiple times at the man, according to McManus.

The man was transported to University Hospital, where he underwent surgery. The officer involved has been on duty for one year and will be placed on administrative duty until the incident is investigated and reviewed by the district attorney's office, the chief said.

Seriously though, glad to see the active shooter got his just desserts, fast and hard.

But it does beg the question, mall food-court? What are the odds that Gecko 45 is still on duty and saved the day once again?
I know they called him a good samaritan, but maybe he was "undercover"? Was there any mention of rapelling in the police report?
I think you are in the ballpark. But remember Gecko 45 was a Nam Vet. And this kid was taught to shoot by his Grandfather. 2+2= Grandson?
But what if this was a false flag event to elevate his Grandsons Status! 🤔😱

Two teens shoot up the wrong house, killing a 25-year-old woman, sheriff says

A woman is dead and another was injured after two teenage boys targeted the wrong home in a drive-by Tuesday morning in far west Bexar County, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.

The sheriff said in a news conference that a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were arrested in connection with the shooting that happened at about 12:40 a.m. in the 11400 block of Bald Mountain Drive. Authorities have not identified the teens.

According to Salazar, the teens were intending to commit a drive-by shooting but got the wrong house, killing a 25-year-old woman who was working on her computer when upwards of 100 rounds of various calibers were fired into the home. Salazar described the home as looking like Swiss cheese.

An Airbnb guest at the home was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Salazar said deputies patrolling the area heard the gun shots and shortly after a call came in about the shooting. When the deputies arrived at the home, they noticed a car speeding away from the area. Salazar said he believes the car was stolen.

One deputy stayed behind at the home, where the two women were found, while another deputy gave chase to the vehicle. With the help of the San Antonio Police Department's Eagle helicopter, BCSO was able to stop the car near Texas 151 and Acme Road and take the teens into custody.

Salazar said the guns used in the shooting were likely stolen but have not been found. The sheriff said the weapons may have been in someone's backyard as the teens attempted to evade authorities and asked anyone who may have stumbled across them to call the sheriff's office.

The sheriff said BCSO is seeking a warrant to search the vehicle but doesn't believe the weapons are inside.

FBI investigates shooting at Texas Border Patrol facility that left migrant who 'went for an agent's gun' dead
The migrant was being detained at the Border Patrol station in west Texas at the time of the shooting

A migrant was shot and killed while in custody at the Ysleta Border Patrol station in El Paso, Texas, on Tuesday afternoon, according to officials

The person, who was being detained at the station at the time of the shooting, was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. Brandon Judd, a spokesperson for the National Border Patrol Council, told Fox News Digital that the migrant "went for an agent's gun" right before the shooting and the agents used "appropriate force at that point."

"At approximately 13:00 hours, the FBI El Paso Field Office was contacted by the Ysleta U.S. Border Patrol Station regarding an agent involved shooting involving a person detained at the Station," said Jeffrey R. Downey, FBI El Paso Special Agent in Charge. "FBI El Paso’s Violent Crime Task Force and Evidence Response Team were deployed to the Station. One person was taken into custody and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. At this time, the FBI can confirm the person has died from his injuries. The FBI, El Paso Police Department and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Professional Responsibility are actively working the scene at this time. As this is ongoing investigation, no further information can be provided at this time."

FBI El Paso’s Violent Crime Task Force and Evidence Response Team are investigating the shooting, along with the El Paso Police Department and CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility.
