Unless you’re a cop then we’ll ignore your “crowdsourcing and expertise”...

Florida Man is in the news again. Online fued turns into a home invasion on a trailer home at 0400. 30 rounds fired, 1 dead, 2 wounded. I'd be really interested to hear the whole story on this one.

Gunfire ripped into the masked gunman and two other intruders, who crumpled to the floor with multiple gunshot wounds.

Those details surfaced Tuesday when the Baker County Sheriff’s Office released an arrest report linked to this weekend’s home invasion turned deadly triple shooting.

Five people are charged in the case. Investigators suspect the home invasion escalated from an ongoing feud between two groups that was stoked by social media threats.

The victims told deputies they acted in self-defense when they turned their guns on the intruders, with one of them estimating he fired over 30 rounds from an AR-15 before the threat was over.

Enel, thanks for mentioning me in this otherwise I might not have seen it. I'll definitely be adding this to my "data base" of known long gun defensive use that goes over just a few rounds.

You know usually this type thing involves drugs and money so it will be interesting to see the whole story. But again, thanks for giving me the heads up.

She didn’t know that she hit him.” She fired two “warning shots” and then left, because Melton continued to approach the women, according to Jesse Quackenbush. “She did say she closed her eyes when she shot both times, but they were warnings, and she thought she pointed away from him,” Jesse recalled.

NASHVILLE, TN -- The Davidson County grand jury indicted Katie Quackenbush, a 27-year-old aspiring alt-country singer/rapper, for the attempted murder of a homeless man following an August 2017 shooting on Music Row. Ever since her arrest in mid-September, Quackenbush, through her father, has maintained the shooting was self-defense.
