Recovering Gun Store Commando. My Blog: The Clue Meter

We should start a longer discussion on this: what exactly do we get from being allied with Saudi Arabia? So far my take is these people are fucking scum, grease ball, slimy ass-wads.
The incident was filmed by some co-conspirators. Fucking awesome.

My respect for the Saudis (and Kuwaiti and Emiratis) was completely destroyed based on their conduct and general complete lack of give a frak, that they displayed without failure during all of my military training that hosted them. When I heard about the NAS P - it came as no surprise whether terror related or just another piece of shit getting the dream shot and f’ing it up.
Not just different days in terms of carrying firearms. They carried firearms because in those days there wasn’t really such a thing as credit cards as we know them today, meaning much more cash in circulation and the U.S. post office performed many “banking” functions including functions performed today by banks and armored car companies.
Yes, we have discussed this before.
There are two classes of non U.S. citizens who can buy and possess firearms in the U.S.:
Legal Permanent Residents (LPR) aka “Green Card Holders are treated the same as U.S. Citizens for the purposes of federal firearms laws.
In general, under 18 USC 922(y) Aliens who are lawfully present in the U.S. after being admitted on non immigrant visas can possess and purchase firearms if they are also in possession of a valid U.S. hunting license. There are other exemptions under 922(y) for foreign LE and diplomats but that would not apply here.
Illegal aliens, including those who overstay or otherwise violate the terms of their lawful admission may not purchase/acquire/ possess firearms or ammunition. It is a felony under 18 USC 922(g)(5).
Foreign military students are normally admitted to the U.S. as A2 nonimmigrants - basically foreign Govt officials on official business. These military students are admitted “duration of status” which translates to their legal immigration status being conditional on the military orders.
I say this because if the shooter’s orders prohibited him from buying a gun, if he was living on base and bought or possessed it in violation of base regulation then the sale could technically be illegal.

CBS 2’s Mike Puccinelli has more from the Sixth District police station at 78th and Halsted.
It’s where sources said a three-year veteran officer left the station Tuesday night and soon noticed he was being followed. A little more than a half mile away, police said someone tried to kill him.

"USPS 'mail train' clerks wearing holstered sidearms"
I had a relative who started as an airline pilot in the mid 1980's ... he said a lot of the grizzled old captains still carried in the cockpit because it had been required in earlier decades when you flew the mail.
