2am, downtown nightclub, what could go wrong…. Of course they are already blaming the guns.
Freaking ghouls. They used to at least wait for the bodies to get cold before they jumped in front of the cameras and demanded "gun control." Now they don't even let the brass cool down.

Grand jury votes not to indict man who fatally shot girlfriend’s ex-husband during custody dispute
Kyle Caruth shot and killed Chad Read in a confrontation that was captured on video
LUBBOCK, Texas – A Texas man who was seen in a viral video fatally shooting his girlfriend’s ex-husband during a custody fight in November will not be criminally charged, according to the State Attorney General’s Office.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, announced Wednesday that a Special Grand Jury was convened and voted not to indict Kyle Carruth, who shot and killed Chad Read during the confrontation, Law&Crime reported.
Carruth’s girlfriend is Christina Read, who is Chad Read’s ex-wife.
The presentation of the case to the grand jury “included several eyewitnesses, family of Chad Read, and additional evidence that was not previously released to the public,” a statement on the Attorney General’s website said. “After several days of thorough inspection of the evidence, the Special Grand Jury concluded their investigation into the matter and deliberated on whether the evidence supported the filing of criminal charges against Kyle Carruth.”
On Wednesday, the Special Grand Jury voted “not to indict for any criminal charges against Kyle Carruth,” the statement said.

Suspect dead, BCSO deputy expected to survive after shooting on far West Side, sheriff says
Deputy was part of team trying to serve felony warrants on 18-year-old man at home in the 200 block of Demya Drive
SAN ANTONIO – A suspect is dead and a deputy is wounded after a shooting on the far West Side on Tuesday afternoon, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.
The shooting was reported in the 200 block of Demya Drive, just west of Loop 410.
Salazar said a team from the Fugitive Apprehension Unit was serving two felony warrants on an 18-year-old man for aggravated robbery and a narcotics offense.
The FAU team knocked on the front door of a home. When there was no answer, they approached a shed-like structure in the back, where the suspect was supposedly living.
Salazar said body camera video showed one deputy knocking on the door and then turning the slightly-opened knob. The deputy looked inside and then saw something that made him retreat. When he turned around, automatic gunfire could be heard in the video, according to the sheriff.
The gunfire from the suspect hit the deputy once in the back, Salazar said. The deputy then retreated nearby and called for help.
Other deputies arrived, and one returned fire on the suspect. Salazar said more automatic shots could be heard in the body camera video.
The injured deputy was rushed to University Hospital in a BCSO vehicle.
“We believe he’s going to survive,” Salazar said at a news conference.
The sheriff said the injured deputy was wearing a protective vest. However, it’s unclear if the bullet went through it or where exactly it hit the deputy.
After tactical teams and negotiators arrived, BCSO was able to make entry into the shed with a drone. The suspect was found dead with one gunshot wound. Salazar said it appears he died by gunfire, but the medical examiner will decide on the cause of death.
The sheriff said it’s unclear if the suspect killed himself or if he died from the shots the deputies fired. The suspect’s name has not been released.
Two firearms were recovered at the scene, according to Salazar.
alazar said the deputy who was shot is a 29-year veteran and will be out on medical leave until he recovers. The other deputies involved will be placed on administrative leave until they can return to administrative duty.
The sheriff said BCSO would release the body cam video as soon as they can, possibly within 10 days.
This happened a couple of years ago, but it’s the first homicide I’ve seen where it was noted that .350 legend was used. I don’t track numbers or anything, but just keeping up with news stories it seems like at least 1/4-1/3 of shootings around here involve AR or AK pistols or one sort or another.

She was a young and strong and healthy woman, but nothing could be done,’’ Hebson said, “because that bullet that was fired was a .350 Legend – a hunting round – and it went straight through the license plate, straight through the passenger’s eat and straight into Destiny Washington’s back.”
Had a gun store/shooting range just south of Atlanta get robbed last night. Robbers killed the owner, his wife and their grandson then made off with about 40 guns and took the store's surveillance DVR.
