For realz, guy solved the problem and didn't get smoke checked in a blue-on-green when the first responders arrived, I'm calling that a win. It's always been the risk of friendly fire after the shooting that has really worried me about these situations.

Closest Walmart to us had a shooting last night. Names of those involved haven't been released yet but it wouldn't surprise me to learn it's gang violence. Mt Vernon has turned into a real shithole.

The one near where I live is a Simon property as well. There's a reason it's called concealed carry. The mall security folks are unarmed. If something goes down while you're there, you're on your own.
