3 officers shot, suspect dead after shooting at Laredo convenience store
Two officers in serious, but stable condition in hospitals in Laredo. The other was Life Flight'ed to San Antonio and is in critical, but stable condition.

Re: the video you posted 1) notice a marked unit drove in between the officer in the video and the suspect; 2) notice the distance - the officers visible in the video are somewhere between 25 and 50 yards away; 3) notice all the officers visible are using handguns, when you need a rifle you need it right now. A rifle in a case in the trunk may as well be on the moon and there is no time to turn on EO-techs etc.
