Cross posting from another forum. I don't FB, so, unable to confirm this.

The absolute worst part about this story is the motorcyclist's dad's response to the situation. He posted on facebook that his son was murdered because of his skin color and that he was going to arm a group of people and get "justice". We now know where the motorcyclist got his poor decision making skills from.

1 Woman Shot Dead, 2 Men Wounded At Harlingen Stripes Store

A suspect remains on the loose after a woman was shot and killed, and two men were wounded, including a federal officer, in an apparent outbreak of domestic violence outside a Stripes store in Harlingen.

The suspect is accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend. Witnesses say he also shot a security firm employee outside the store, then got into a shootout with a U.S. Marshal who came running from a nearby car wash when he heard the gunfire. The officer was believed to have been struck in the shoulder before the suspect sped away.

The violence broke out at the Stripes store on the I69-E frontage road and West Tyler Avenue. Harlingen police, Cameron County sheriff’s deputies, and the FBI are all investigating. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

South Carolina boys, 8 and 9, to be charged in shooting death of 62-year-old man
The boys, ages 8 and 9, allegedly shot the man with a .22 caliber rifle

South Carolina authorities will charge two children in connection to the shooting death of a man on a tractor.

Oconee deputies responded on June 23 to a call from a woman that her husband had been shot while driving his tractor around his property.

The deputies found Danny Andrew Smith, 62, slumped over the steering wheel of his tractor, unresponsive. An autopsy determined that Smith died from a single gunshot wound to the back.

The boys, aged eight and nine, allegedly shot Smith with a .22 caliber rifle, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
"After a consultation with the Solicitor’s Office, and based on the evidence obtained in our ongoing investigation, we believe that both juvenile males discharged a firearm in a reckless manner in the direction of Mr. Smith who was bush hogging on some family property," Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw said in a statement.

Family court has petitioned for both juveniles to be charged with involuntary manslaughter since authorities cannot determine which boy fired the lethal shot.

SAPD: Man who opened fire at KSAT journalists fatally shot by officers
Man barricaded himself after shooting at reporters, family

SAN ANTONIO – A man accused of shooting at his family and KSAT journalists was fatally shot by San Antonio police Monday after a standoff that lasted several hours.
Two KSAT journalists reporting at the scene of a house fire said the man, believed to be in his 20s, was digging through rubble with a large stick when they arrived. The man is believed to be part of the family who lives at the burned home, located in the 200 block of Noria Street.
KSAT reporter Dillon Collier and photographer Joshua Saunders were interviewing other members of the family near the house.
About 20 minutes after KSAT crews arrived on the scene, the man who had been digging through rubble emerged from the home with two handguns and began to shoot at Collier, Saunders and the family members. He fired several bullets at the journalists, who ran on foot, and the family, who took off in an SUV.
The man then took off on a bicycle and made his way into a home down the street, where he barricaded himself inside another home.

There were a number of people in that house,” San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said Monday following the standoff. “Apparently he know some folks who were in there. Those individuals, we were able to get them out.”
At one point, the suspect left the home and entered an air conditioned shed in the backyard, McManus said.
“The officers decided to try and lock him out of the house at that point,” McManus said.
The suspect allegedly saw the officers through the screen door of the house and shot at them. Five officers returned fire, killing the shooter, McManus said.
McManus said the suspect was in “close range” of the officers when gunfire was exchanged.

Arson investigators were involved at the scene because it was suspected someone fired bullets inside the home around the time it caught fire. Bullet casings could be seen in the area.

Before the shooting, a family member told KSAT that the home had been in the family for several generations.
The fire was called in around 1:30 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of Noria Street, not far from Brady Boulevard and Frio City Road on the West Side.
Firefighters said when they arrived, they found heavy flames showing the front of the house. Firefighters also had to deal with heavy smoke inside the home, fire officials said. The fire was put out quickly and without incident. Nobody was home at the time of the fire, firefighters said. Damage to the home is estimated at $60,000.
Neighbors questioned why police hadn’t arrested the man after the suspected arson occurred. McManus explained that police did not have a warrant and “no probable cause to make an arrest at that time.”

Man shoots Houston police officer, spits on woman amid dispute over parking spot
11-year veteran hospitalized in critical but stable condition

HOUSTON – A Houston police officer was critically wounded Monday when a man opened fire after an argument with a woman over a parking spot, police said.
Police Chief Troy Finner said the officer, an 11-year veteran of the department whose name has not been released, was hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
Officers were responding to a disturbance call at an apartment complex, Mayor Sylvester Turner said. Finner said the officers spoke to a woman who said a man at the complex had spit in her face during a dispute over a parking space.
The officers then went to the man's apartment to get his statement. At some point while they were at the door, the man “starts firing upon one of our officers,” Finner said.
The man fired multiple times, wounding the officer in the arm, said Finner, who added that he believes the officer's bulletproof vest protected him from a shot to the abdomen.
The other officer used his hands to take the 26-year-old suspect into custody, Finner said. Neither officer fired their weapons, he said.

    Suicide by cop?

Locklear fled on foot and was “visibly in possession of a handgun” as he went into a wooded area, the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies, K-9s, and drones all searched for several hours, but they were unable to find Locklear. The search was later suspended, the release said.

Sampson County deputies continued to patrol the Bonnetsville and Laural Lake Campground areas. Around 1:09 p.m. Sunday, a deputy saw a car they “knew may be associated with the suspect.” The deputy stopped the vehicle near Lakewood School and Laurel Lake roads.
