And now two additional civilians confirmed killed by the shooter.
They brought one of the deputies here last night for an autopsy. Very moving procession from Boone. The other will soon join him, and tomorrow at 1300 there will be another one to take them home together. Ive seen far to many of those. RIP brothers.
Inside the home, authorities found Isaac Barnes, the suspected shooter, and his parents, George Ligon and Michelle Ligon, dead.

Hagaman said he believes the deputies may have prevented a larger-scale act of violence against not only law enforcement, but the community.
“It was not a manifesto but it was, like, ‘I need to do this,’” he said.

Then-Milo police Chief Damien Pickel and Todd Lyford, chief deputy for the Penobscot County Sheriff’s office, both shot Douglas Frank Hazen at about 3 p.m. April 26, 2019, outside his home after Hazen refused commands to drop his gun, according to the attorney general’s report released Friday. Pickel initially used his stun gun on Hazen, but to no effect. Hazen then began walking toward the officers with his gun at his side. When he was 10 to 15 feet away, he began pulling up on the gun when the officers fired.

Failed heist attempt on cash-in-transit truck in Sarf Effrica by a team of 5 bandits wielding AKs. Driver-Courier has what it takes; decisive, focused aggression towards a goal; when his vehicle is disabled, he clearly understands the limitations of his vehicles armor and dismounts (best defense is a good offense). Courier is just bait, had extreme trouble accomplishing the simplest tasks, and had a look on his face like he had already accepted his fate and was just waiting to be executed.
Hopefully they give that driver-courier a job offer direct to the Flying Squad.
I believe this is a news article for it:

"Are you ready? Okay. Let's roll."- Last words of Todd Beamer
Never thought South Africa was a cake walk, but this context is rough.
“Daily Maverick reported at the time that 293 CIT robberies took place across the country in 2020. SAPS could not give an updated figure.”
From the story, the driver sounds like a SAPS Police Sergeant. He clearly had a series of rehearsed reactions mapped. His shifting/driving/directing all at the same time was impressive.
This kind of stuff makes me sad for our country. Guessing the driver of the truck fancies himself a badass or something. If I was making the call he’d get charged along with the Z driver if ever caught.
