Post Is that standard procedure to let driver carry firearms???

That's horrible. You never know what's going on in someone's mind.
Officer asked for rifle and the driver grabbed it and walked over to hand it to the officer.
    Doesn't that look dangerous?
We are not even supposed to move our hand during traffic stop when we have firearm.
    What's the policy here?

You might want to mention the fact that the "beloved Teacher and Coach" was actually a scumbag who was killed trying to rob a stash house and had executed a person associated with the stash house.

    Nobody's perfect.
There's nothing civil about this war.

The sheriff blamed the shooting on a spike in illegal drugs flowing through Alamance County, noting that his office has seized 129 kilos of cocaine and nearly $2.3 million in cash since February.

"We've never seen that much cocaine in this county," he said. "The quantity is getting bigger and bigger because, in my opinion, of our open southern border."

A Spanish teacher died trying to rip off a stash house owned by the Sinaloa New Generation Cartel? WTF?

From reading the article it sounded like the teacher and his brother in law broke into the house, tied up one person who they found there and executed him before other cartel members arrived and shot the pair.

"Channel 9 learned Harris and his brother-in-law Steven Alexander Stewart went to a mobile home park on Wyatt Road in Green Level, North Carolina in the early morning hours of April 8 to steal money and drugs from the Sinaloa New Generation Cartel’s stash house."
    and

The sheriff said Harris was wearing a bulletproof vest, but it wasn’t a match for the high caliber fire power of the cartel’s guns.
A science teacher would have at least researched what type of body armor to wear. If this were a TV series, it would be over in a few episodes and be titled Breaking Stupid.

In years past, this was referred to as the rule of "Avanhi". Asshole versus asshole, no humans involved.

That’s not what happened. I won’t get into the details.
