Criminal complaints were filed Wednesday by the district attorney’s office, accusing Haskell of terrorizing, criminal threatening, assault and violating a condition of release. According to an affidavit filed in court by the sheriff’s office, a man had gone to Haskell’s house to pick up his clothes. He said a dispute ensued and the two got into a fight with the man holding Haskell to the floor, according the affidavit. A second man reportedly arrived and directed the other man to let Haskell up. Haskell allegedly bit the finger of the man who had been holding him down and then said he would get a gun and shoot the pair. One of the men reported he knew there had been a gun in the house. The men left the house and got in a vehicle to leave when Haskell allegedly came out and ran toward the vehicle with something in his hand. One of the men leaving said he had his own handgun and fired a warning shot to ward off Haskell, according to the affidavit. Assistant District Attorney Jeffrey Baroody said that the man who fired off the shot would not be charged, saying the state would not be able to disprove self-defense.

Confirmed - weapon in the WA mall shooting was a Ruger 10/22 stolen from the suspect's step father.
Apparently there was also an attempt to have the suspect involuntarily committed to a mental hospital but it's not clear if that happened or not.

EATTLE - Records obtained by the KING 5 Investigators showed a Kirkland mental health facility tried to involuntarily commit the suspected Cascade Mall shooter last year.
Records show the doctors at Fairfax Hospital told a King County judge they were gravely concerned about Arcan Cetin.
In documents filed with Island County District probation officers, a doctor checked a box indicating he was worried Cetin would harm himself.
A separate box indicating Cetin might harm others was not checked. It is unclear from these records whether or not Cetin was involuntarily admitted to the hospital.
Records also show that Cetin was diagnosed with autism, depression, and ADHD. He was receiving medicine like Prozac for his illnesses in the months before the shootingThe documents say Cetin recently had a falling out with his stepfather. His stepfather also told detectives that he was missing his Ruger rifle and his .22 ammunition. Police say that was the same rifle used in the shooting.
Cetin’s stepfather told detectives he had not seen his son since dinner Friday and that Cetin was supposed to be at work that night.
Macon man shoots himself in leg while sitting on toilet
http://news4sanantonio.com/news/offb...ting-on-toiletAccording to a Bibb County incident report, the man was sitting on the toilet in his home while trying to clean his pistol when it went off, striking him once.
The man told authorities, when they responded to the hospital in reference to the shooting, that he had dropped the magazine and was trying to ride the hammer of the gun forward when it slipped, causing the weapon to go off.
Gee, I dunno - doesn't EVERYONE clean their pistol while sitting on the toilet?

Just saw this, and I went back 2 or 3 pages to see if this was posted, but didn't see it. If it's a repeat from before that, I apologize...
Comments say it's a Subway in Sao Paulo, and the shooter is off-duty police. No idea if that's accurate or not. A good example of shooting from retention in close quarters, and the bad guy definitely missed the indicators that the victim was armed, although he could have been doing the reaching for the wallet ploy. Not sure why he kept a one-handed grip when confronting bad guy #2.
