"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." - Thomas Jefferson, Virginia Constitution, Draft 1, 1776
You must be the only special case to have fled Long Island I guess.
(Unless Massholes is a term only for those folks from MA that don't support your particular point of view, and not everyone in the state.)
When I sought asylum in NC 15 years ago I didn't really think it my place to determine who else was welcome...but I did my level best to fit in.
A lot of good people on this board are refugees from repressive states. A lot of good folks still live in them...and many of 'em serve.
Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.
(Apologies in advance for dragging out the soapbox. It's not personal.)

There's nothing civil about this war.
No shit, Sherlock.
I use the term for those who wish to transform NH into another socialist state like MA. These are basically MA residents who feel morally superior for their support of social programs (supported by high taxes), gun control, etc. but live in NH for the lower cost of living. Not that I really give a shit about that, but what really pushes it over the top is that they bring their liberal votes with them to their southern NH bedroom communities. Most of them are hypocritical Massholes like this one. Fucking Massholes.
FWIW #1, the term "Masshole" was originally intended for the reckless driving often seen with vehicles wearing MA plates.
FWIW #2, our daughter lives in Boston making a living as a nurse at Mass General Hospital. She was on the front lines of triage in the aftermath of the Marathon Bombings, caring for some of the most critically wounded. She and her co-workers are anything but Massholes.
FWIW #3, the company I work has its corporate HQ in MA. Most of the people I work with - including one shooting enthusiast who stays in MA due to family constraints - I do not consider Massholes either.
Here it is Sunday morning, maybe your soapbox could use a fresh coat of paint?

I’m at Disney this week, and with the Florida election drama Elizabeth is here stumping for votes. She even has this clever display to visualize her socioeconomic policy.
