I love me some 1911s, but that MSRP is crack pipe bad. Better hit the street at almost a G less or it'll never sell. Not when you can grab an MIM-free Dan Wesson Pointman 9 for $1400 and a magwell for a 100 bucks.
Too many options in the 1-2k range in 9mm 1911 land to make $2500 really worth it especially when you can pony up another 500 and get into a Wilson or Nighthawk.
