    Bill - 2.54 clean -.25 for concealment=2.29

    F2S - 2.14 clean -.25 for concealment=1.89

    PseudoFAST - 4.78 1c -.50 for concealment +.25 for 1c=4.53

    2OH - 3.09 clean -.25 for concealment=2.84

    4 Aces - 3.45 -.5 for concealment + 1.25 for 1c and 1d=4.2

    Total Raw Time - 16.00

Total Time after penalties - 15.75

I shot this pretty well until I pushed a bit too hard on the 4 Aces and fell apart. I'm pretty happy with my times with my carry gun. I'm really enjoying shooting this every session and doing it with different guns multiple times may be a decent way to evaluate my performance with a given combo of gun/gear/how i'm shooting any particular day.

I ran this 6 times yesterday with some different pistols. I'll just post final scores. I used the same sweater for concealment.

    Gen 3 G-17: 19.77
Gen 4 G-17 with no back strap: 17.73
    LTT Elite: 19.77
    LTT Elite: 20.17
Gen 4 G-17 no back strap: 21.37 with a 3.98 horribly fumbled reload on 4 Aces
    Gen 4 G-17 no back strap: 17.50

Things I noticed: Hmmm. I hadn't really shot the G 4 G-17 without a back strap much before. I can get more of my finger on the trigger and didn't have low left hits. Hmmm. Hits were good on all runs with a few minus 1's here and there.

    Five times today.

    9mm Commander: 19.18
    9mm Commander: 19.80
    5" 1911 9mm: 19.84
    Gen 4 G-17: 20.63 1 miss weak hand.
    Gen 4 G-17: 20.09

Things I noticed: With the penalty for 1 point down only .25 seconds, I wonder if this is a drill where speed is more important than points.

I like this set of drills. Easy to set up and tests several things. I set up 5 targets. Easy to see what needs work.

This set of drills uses the same C = +.25 second penalty structure that I use in my class testing. Although that is certainly a smaller penalty than is used in many tests, I am firmly convinced that it is not worth it to shoot points down. Shooting clean is the single biggest thing you can do to score well. It's the same thing on this battery of tests.

Pistol, holster, and concealment (optional) used
Sig P320 X-Five, full duty rig (ALS holster), no concealment

Time for each of the five strings
    1)Bill Drill - 2.87 (Clean)
    2)Failure - 2.54 (Clean)
    3)Pseudo-FAST - 5.54 (-1 body)
4)Off Hand - 4.52* (Screwed this one up)
    5)4 Aces - 3.76 (2 misses)

    Total raw time
    19.23

    Penalties added
    + 0.75 for misses

    Final score
    19.98

    Anything you noticed
I can't read directions. On stage 4, I drew strong hand only, fired two rounds SHO, and then fired two rounds WHO.

I liked it. I shot it cold as my first drill and didn't think it was horrible performance out of a duty rig. I like the variety of skills it tests in a relatively small number of rounds. I had a hard time taking advantage of the whole head standard. My head had a 4" scoring circle I had to place the rounds in there apparently.

I may shoot it again and run stage 4 correctly. There's probably 2 seconds I can save. I also threw two misses for no good reason on the 4 roses. Both misses were after the reload. Had I taken 0.10 to settle the sights, I would have had two hits.

I've now shot this 14 times with 5 different pistols. My best score is 17.50 and my worst is 21.37, both with the same Gen 4 G-17. My average is 19.53.

My reality is that I can shoot this in the 19 second range no matter which service type pistol I choose.

I’m a moron. So I forgot the weak handed string for all runs. But everything was shot clean.

Glock 19.4, Ameriglo Bolds, JMCK wing claw w/ TLR-7, Veil Solutions mag pouch, t shirt for concealment (thanks AZ). Shot twice

    Raw:
    Bill: 2.82/2.86
    Mozambique: 3.09/2.70
    “fast”: 6.56/5.41
    4 aces: 4.71/5.01

    Adjusted: 15.68/14.48

Learned: I’m a moron, and forgot the weak hand string. This is my first time shooting with my EDC setup for at least 2 years. I dry fire from concealment, but most of my training is with a duty belt now. I need to get back to training with the CCW rig. My times sucked.

Glock 34.3, Ameriglo Agents, Safariland ALS/Duty belt, Velocity Systems custom LPAAC body armor. Shot twice.

    Raw:
    Bill: 2.86/2.50
    Mozambique: 2.56/2.41
    “fast”: 5.74/5.75
    4 aces: 5.16/4.40

    Adjusted total: 13.82/13.56

Learned: still a moron and forgot a string..... Running in full kit, is a lot different than running slick with just the belt..... it’s finally cooled down enough to train with armor on without dying of heat stroke.

Overall notes: range was open late tonight. Started shooting around 17:45, as the son was starting to set. This is typically that crap time of day where traditional night sights are hard to pick up, and fibers look like black sights. These Agent sights were still harder to pickup than in good light, but better than any of the other sights I’ve ran in the past.

I’ll be running this a lot more times.

Ran this again twice today, and once with a rifle. Glock 34.3, ALS duty holster/duty belt.

    First run:
    Bill drill: 2.44
    Failure drill: 2.21
    Fast: 4.37
    2OH: 2.76
    4 Aces: 4.62 + .25 1C

    Total minus deductions: 14.9

    Second run:
    Bill drill: 2.54 + .5 2C
    Failure drill: 1.95
    Fast: 4.57 + .25 1C
    2OH: 2.92 + .25 1C
    4 Aces: 4.32

    Total minus deductions: 15.55

Learning that occurred: Definitely faster/easier to shoot this without the vest, soooo I need to start training in armor more often. I tried to push the speed the second run, and the wheels just fell off. The biggest things I noticed was rushing the draw, instead of slowing down at the end like GJM has posted about, not mashing the trigger at speed (all misses were just left and low), and cleaning up the reloads. So. Everything.

Just for shits and giggles, my buddy and I ran this with our rifles as well. Sun was already down, so we ran the drill with WMLs as well. All strings started from a ready gun/high-low ready.

BCM 14.5 ELW middy, 13” KMR, BCM comp, Strike Eagle 1-6x, and ALG ACT trigger, Streamlight Hl-X pressure switch.

    Bill drill: 1.67
    Failure drill: 1.02
    Fast: 4.60
    2OH: 2.26
    4 Aces: 3.74

    Total 13.29 clean.

Lessons: rifles are better than pistols. I need to train rifles more at speed. The variable optic is awesome. A 12-O clock pressure pad is super fast to activate.

This will serve as my baseline for AIWB. I just started training AIWB and this is my first live fire session with it. I have had a total of one dry fire session preceding this.
It showed, but hey, gotta start somewhere...

G19X, DSG Orion, MultiHolster OWB mag pouch under Carhartt hoodie.

    First run
    Bill Drill 3.29 4A2C +.5 -.25= 3.54
    Mozambique 2.67 3A -.25=2.42
    PseudoFAST 6.6 5A1C +.25-.5=6.35
    2OH 4.29 2A -.25=4.04
    4 Aces 6.67 1A3C +.75 -.5= 6.92 (nasty reload)
    Raw time= 23.53
    Penalties= 1.5
    Concealment bonus= 1.75
    Total 23.27

    Second- FAIL (see Mozambique)
    Bill Drill 3.25 5A1C +.25 -.25= 3.25
Mozambique 2.6 1 mike. (Just high on the head) I didn't see how to score a mike so I reshot it. 2.53 3A -.25= 2.28
    PseusoFAST 5.67 5A1C +.25 -.5= 5.42
    2OH 3.43 2C +.5-.25=3.68
    4 Aces 5.05 3A1C +.25-.5=4.8
    Raw time=19.93
    Penalties=1.25
    Concealment bonus=1.75
Total 19.43 (with reshoot, but fail overall due to a miss)

Ran from aiwb concealed with a dark star for my glocks. I ran two each with my 19x and 19.5

    Run 1 w/ 19x total 17.82
    Penalties + .50 (2 misses) - 18.82
    Concealment bonus -1.75
    Final Score = 16.57

    Run 2 w/ 19x total 17.33
    Penalties + .50
    Concealment bonus -1.75
    Final Score = 16.08

    Run 1 w/ 19.5 total 18.27
    Penalties + 1.00 = 19.27
    Concealment bonus -1.75
    Final Score = 17.52

    Run 2 w/ 19.5 total 16.46
    Penalties + .50
    Concealment bonus - 1.75
    Final Score = 15.21

I then ran by 365 w/ the 12 round mag aiwb in a vedder holster. I only ran this one once.
    Total = 19.36
    Penalties + .50
    Concealment bonus - 1.75
    Final Score = 18.11

First off I was very surprised I ran the 365 so well and with minimal misses. Were I struggled the most was with the reloads, especially with the glocks. I haven't practiced that in a while I struggled getting the empty mag to come out. My only smooth reload as with my second run of my 19.5 which is the difference in my times across the board.

Also I keep forgetting to take a picture of the target as I went along so this was my first and 3rd run (I think) Overall I was extremely pleased with how I did. Since I started competing this year, It has made a world of difference in my shooting. I still struggle with getting a draw from my holster under 1.2 consistently but my shooting and accuracy have improved dramatically over the last 6 months.
