Solid belt mount for Safariland ALS

I like Safariland ALS holsters for some things and have ones that fit my needs pretty well. The mounts suck though. On my main non-concealment belt setup I have a 6390RDS on a True North hanger with QLS mount. This one works well. I also have a 6378 for my P226 and would like just a standard belt mount. I'm currently using the factory Safariland belt mount and the plastic is so soft and flexible that the holster flops around a lot. I don't really want all the bulk or the drop of the True North. What are some other options?

That looks like I'd have to go Holster-tekmount-receiver-teklok. What I'd really like is just a Teklok straight on the back of the Safariland holster.

If you're using a 1.5" belt, this one is a lot more rigid than the one included with the 6378.

ETA: And I just realized they've now added a 1.75" version, so I'll be ordering myself a couple here shortly.

Same, much better than the older belt slot rubber thing that used to come with the older holsters.

A magic combination is the Safariland 6072UBL High Ride duty belt loop paired with the ALS holsters that have the higher up "concealment" mounting holes. Add the RDR gear UBL Belt Width Modification and you get the same ride height as the standard UBL without the holster sticking way out away from your body and it eliminates the need for a leg strap that feels like a constant weak hug from a small child (credit to John Dufresne of Kinetic Consulting for that spot-on analogy). With the 6000 series you have to specifically buy the concealment version of the ALS holsters. The 7ts versions have both sets of mounting holes and you can convert between them. I've been running it this way for a good while now, and I don't have to bend at the waist to draw the gun with my body type. 6378 and 7378 holsters are the models that have the higher up mounting. I'm using the QLS (soon to be replaced with Blade-Tech's Tek-Mount when they are available again), but you can easily eliminate that and get it closer to the body.

Beat me to it. This is the answer for 1.5" or 1.75" belts. I got my 1.5 versions from Amazon.

And this works on 2' or 2.25" duty belts.

Blue Alpha holsters has recently released a mount for the Safariland holsters. I have no first hand experience with the mount.

I had an ER nurse in a class. I noticed she kept taking all head shots. Her response when asked why, "'I've seen too many people who have been shot in the chest putting up a fight in the ER." Point taken.
