Magpul DAKA hard cases

Magpul just announced their DAKA hard cases and showcased the features and benefits on IG. I was ready to get my first Pelican last summer, but I'm glad I waited.

I can't remember the last time I was this excited for a firearm accessory that wasn't related to the operation of the gun.

It looks interesting especially the organization system. It is pretty wide (almost 20" wide vs 14" for most Storm and Pelican cases) and kind of heavy. The LR53 weighs 25 lbs empty and 28 lbs with the grid organizer. That gives you about 22 lbs of gear before you hit the 50 lbs weight limit for most airline luggage. It looks like it is priced higher than equivalent Pelican/Storm cases. Very cool nonetheless.

I am liking the organization system… but hope they offer a setup for the Storm IM3100. I guess I can make one fit, but rather just shove in and go.
