Same. I'm still on the prowl for a high viz .245 x .125 front to use with my Warren sights

    What ammo?

Gold Dot 124+P for carry, AE 115 and other 124 grain loads for practice.

Likely buying another 19.5 next year because: reasons.

Will a 19.5 MOS slide go on a regular 19.5?

Yes. Gen 5 19, Gen 5 19 MOS, 19X and G45 all mix and match.

As GJM said, yes, the G19.5, G19X and G45 slides all interchange.

In addition, the G19 Gen 4 slides (including MOS ETC) will work on a Gen 5 frame if you swap the back plate for the Gen 5 back plate.

Brownells is now offering reasonable priced Gen 4 slides, including optics cut versions.

Does that mean the Gen 5 trigger bar upper "fin" that disengages the firing pin block, works properly with both Gen 4 and 5 firing pin blocks?

The old style works in the Gen 5

Just a data point but I picked up a Gen5 19MOS today and it's the most tightly fitted Glock I've handled including those with aftermarket barrels. I have very high hopes for mechanical accuracy. The barrel-to-slide fit has less movement than my 2 VP9s and is on par with my PPQ. The slide-to-frame fit is better than my VP9s and PPQ (not that it matters a whole lot). There is no perceptible movement of the slide vs frame when dry firing. I can't wait to shoot some 25m bull with this thing and see what it can do.
