What is your area of expertise?

Mine is "hydronics" which is the transport of BTUs using water. I work primarily in applications engineering for a large manufacturer of water conveyance products.

I vacillate between INTP and INTJ depending on what is motivating me at that moment.

If it's implementing solutions - INTJ. If it's identifying solutions INTP. The vacillation is primarily driven on whether I allow myself to access my creative side for finding novel solutions to a problem or if I must maintain strict rationality due to other requirements. If the problem is 'simple' forming a plan of action and getting to solving it drives me. If the problem is 'complex' I'm much more apt to let my mind wander over the variables of it, until a solution appears, even if that solution appears ridiculous initially.

RR, INTJs make excellent product managers. I'm officially a PM myself, though strict timelines and schedules escape my internal INTP wiring. Luckily my employer values my ideas, which have so far resulted in three patents.

Since I've taken the test and better understand my strengths and weaknesses, I'm better able to adapt to my social and workplace environment.

Us INTPs certainly know our lanes, don't we? I am sure you are of great value to your employer and/or clients.
