I carry 357 Silvertips in the steel guns. Not abusive to shoot and after seeing Chuck Haggard's gel demo with the Silvertip I have complete confidence in it. 145 Silvertip fired from a 2in snub went thru
16in of gel and stopped in 4 folds of denim behind it..............just right.......................CYA Mike

It's my go-to in my stainless Speed-Six 2.75" and has done the trick handily on several critters up to big coyote/small wolf size...
