That was pretty quick! As you can see a G19 size frame fits my hand better but I'll learn to deal with the extra length (and +2 rounds). The trigger is as nice as everyone else described and I just noticed the beveled slide.
Picked one up today. I thought the idea of the G17 frame/ 19 slide was goofy and not something I would like.
Wow was I wrong. This thing balances crazy good for a Glock, and I will be interested to see how it shoots.
What is the complement of magazines that the G45 comes with? Is it 1x17 and 2x19 like the 19X?

Shot mine today. The grip feels better when not shooting vs shooting, but it reminded me of the P-07 in a way. Didn't feel like I would be getting good results while shooting, but the target didn't lie. Very easy to shoot well for me.
It's a keeper.
The G45 fits my 7ts holster for both my G17 and a G19. The G19 holster is an early edition, and it does feel snug, but the gun fits in and removes easily.

I've been wondering, does anyone know why this is? I thought that was a really cool feature of the 19X and added to the appeal of it.
Cost, price a Gen 5 G17 and a G19X.
Not necessarily, i bought a non blue label 19x for the same price as a 19G5. It wasn't some crazy back door deal either.

Strange you found a Gen 5 G19 for the same price as a G19X which has night sights, two extended magazines, different finish and a few other changes for the same price.
In Gen 5 pistols I own G26, G19, G17, G34, G45, and 4 G19X. All but the G34 MOS were much cheaper than the G19X pistols.
