I am not one of them so I see this as great news. I was worried I'd need to start stocking up on some current production guns for the future ;-)

New sights came yesterday, I was able to put 50 rounds through it to confirm zero. Based on advice in this thread I ordered an Ameriglo Bold front sight, .180x.125 with the green outline. For the rear I chose a Dawson Precision Charger, all black, .185x.155. The gun shoots POA/POI at 20 yards. I’m very happy with this combination as I prefer the square notch, all black rear and a thin front sight with the Bold feature.

That's a good sight combo. Have same set up on my 19.5

I’m selling Off some guns and knives to buy a Glock (maybe it’s duplicate too). Trying to buy a 9mm Glock and focus solely and that platform for a long time. I need the money from selling stuff too. Anyway, the 19 and g45 are the 2 I’m interested in. I’m in a Ban state so you’d think the smaller one would be the answer but man that g45 seems so good. Especially since I’m concerned about the cutout on the 19.
