Glock 19 Gen 4 locking block pin finish peeling off

This G19.4 has 6100 rounds through it so I decided to detail strip (my first time ever doing so) and clean it this morning. The finish is peeling off of the locking block pin. Is this normal? Is it still safe to shoot?

    TIA

Thanks, Tom. I did order one from Midway for $2.99, but was curious if it was normal and more importantly, is safe to shoot while waiting for it to come in.

Sorry, I keep forgetting about the Brownells link above...

A new pin won't hurt, but this is also fairly normal. I only replace them when it looks like the pin is starting to bend a bit.
