    Ameriglo rears: Classic or Pro?

Ameriglo offers two styles for many of their rear sight sizes: the “Classic” and the “Pro”.

It appears that the Pro style gives a small increase in sight radius, but are there other advantages/disadvantages to the two styles? Is the sight radius difference significant?

I’ve got the “classic” rears on a couple of pistols. No complaints, just wondering if it’d be worth changing them.

The Pro looks like the rears that are on my preferred Ameriglo Hackathorns. I’ve found the clean sight picture at the rear of the slide works really well with my aging eyes, but I’m not sure they provide enough of a sight radius increase to be a factor.

I am "pro" across 6 Glocks with no complaints. I suspect that its slightly more "smooth/swoopy" outer contours are a bit easier on cover garments, undergarments and holsters in terms of abrasiveness.

    YMMV Greatly
