The Bandit movies are still awesome. While you can't beat Burt Reynolds as the Bandit, what made the movies for me is the relationship between Buford T and Junior.

I loved the movie Stick and have been a fan ever since. Probably need to buy that and White Lightning. Smokey and the Bandit was before my time.

    RIP Burt!

I haven’t seen it since it was in the theaters, but I remember liking Sharky’s Machine.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.

Ward and Beaver Cleaver got nothing on Buford T. and Junior [emoji16]

    "My hat blew off, daddy."
"I hope your goddamn head was in it."

"I always wanted to experience everything and go down swinging," he wrote in the final paragraph of his memoir. "Well, so far, so good. I know I'm old, but I feel young. And there's one thing they can never take away: Nobody had more fun than I did."
For me, that says it all.

I just watched White Lightning and Gator last month. In honor of Burt Reynolds, I'll be flying my mustache at half staff for the rest of my shift and sliding around every corner on my way home after work.
