Back on topic: while I don't support the shifting-the-goalposts shit the dems have been up to, Kavanaugh sure does a great job of playing the role of every "point-the angry-finger-at-everyone-else" drunk that I had the displeasure of dealing with in college (usually calling some woman a "slut" in a rage after being shot down) if he isn't actually one in his daily life.

If he was a lefty woman, he'd be described as a canting, irrational bitch by many who support him now.

His dipshit adherence to the "unitary executive" view of the presidency wipes out any respect I would have for his ability as a juror. An anti-gun president could quite effectively squash our 2a rights with that sort of invincibility.

I had listened to Dr. Ford live, on the radio, while returning from a road trip. My earlier reply was based upon that. I have, since then, watched much of her testimony, and now find her less believable. Her body language was less convincing that her spoken language.

Now, if only the orange president would keep his pie-hole shut...

To be clear, I have no love for the nominee, but I will be so very glad when this mess is finished.

This doesn't make any sense to me. The Constitution clearly lays out a "unitary executive." Are you saying that he shouldn't adhere to the "text, history, and tradition" analysis when dealing with executive power because you don't like the result? I don't see how unitary executive theory applies to limiting a constitutionally enumerated right. Would you care to explain that? Here is a summary of what I understand to be Kavanaugh's position on the unitary executive: https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign...tary-executive

Don't find anything to corroborate your claims? It's a whitewash!
