I made some very spicy chili and it's been something like 3 out of the last 5 meals I've eaten. Last night's dinner was some very spicy jerked chicken. Those cold water bidets are looking pretty good to me right now.

I've used the same analogy with my wife when she's asked why I use so much more toilet paper than she does. "Well...imagine trying to wipe up peanut butter off the hardwoods compared to out of the carpet."

Whats the current recommendations for a budget friendly add-on unit with some useful features?

Cold water, non electric I think, for the starter model.

Home Depot availability is a plus.

I’m on my second one of these, the first was left in NH because it wouldn’t fit our new toilets.

We received a Tushy Bidet for Christmas. It's so thin that you don't need spacers for your toilet seat and it's $99. We've been pretty happy with it thus far.

Reddit is generally cancer, but sometimes it offers some comedic relief:

Alright… I’m not one to speak of such things, but… I only drink coffee because it’s an instant laxative for me. I set the timer on the coffee maker, go down and grab a cup, and voila! I’m in the shower 5 minutes later, and always done until the following morning.
