    Dimensions for PVC Target Stand?

Couldn't figure out where else to put this...

My range has iron target frames attached to sleds, four frames per sled. The sleds weigh a couple hundred pounds each, so they're not easy to reposition. I'd like to make a couple of target stands out of PVC, using furring strips to hold the cardboard backing/IDPA/USPSA targets. If anyone has plans or a materials list to do this, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks!

I just built one but don’t remember what lengths I used. Looks like approximately 14” of 1.5” for all 8 straight pieces, giving approx. 17.5” inside to inside for the uprights. 4 90-degree elbows and 2 tees. I used test caps to fill the end crosspieces with gravel to add a bit of weight. I did not glue in the uprights for easier transport.

If my attachment-fu is strong enough, plans should be attached....

I'm on the same mission, picked up the materials today, I'm following the instructions from this DIY run down. The caveat is I haven't made this myself, but I can't see how it would be found lacking..

I built a couple of PVC stands in the past. They worked good for what they were, but transport and storage was a PITA. I'm now using these stands from Target Barn and like them MUCH better! They're small enough that I don't even disassemble them for storage or transport. Wind? They have holes for stakes. It's a great setup!
