Really, DW ECP. You wont be sorry.
    I did a thing.

Who all here has a DW ECP? I’m trying to navigate the holster sea.

Seems like any 4" 1911 holster should work? Or any Commander-length, if you want a holster that has max cross compatibility for guns in the same rough Commander length class...

I’m not sure how much difference the angular slide top and different muzzle end profile will make. I have an email out to Milt Sparks about a 55BN and possibly a VM2 since leather IWBs don’t hurt as much as Kydex, and need to call Kramer, too. Supposedly some Wilson X9 holsters work well too due to the similar slide top profile. Ideally I’d like the OWB to be properly boned.

I don’t see myself getting other Commander class pistols. (Heh) If anything, and only if I totally fall for the ECP over time, I might eventually entertain a 9mm little brother ECP.

Seller’s pic. I won’t have it in hand until I’m back in two weeks.

    Ken:

This 4" 1911 9mm carried in the Tenicor Certum 3.
    Can be appendix, or iwb.
Are you lefty? Have a few you could try. Here's a couple of views,

The red holster is a KSG, and just as comfortable.

I’m having problems with Kydex IWBs and my hip to hip surgical scar - but thank you for the offer! Leather IWBs are slightly more comfortable, but when I thought “aha! Cover the body side of the Kydex with something!” it didn’t make a difference. I wish this damn scar would toughen up already, it’s been tso and a half years.
