    The classic backwards 38 wadcutter

Here's an interesting video a friend sent me the link to this morning. It doesn't look like it has been linked previously.

Pretty interesting results. Some day it would be nice to try in organic gel for comparison.

I'm impressed they flew straight. Inverted HBWC's have a tendency to tumble and keyhole.

The inverted wadcutter was a round that always performed spectacularly on rabbits and other small critters, and no doubt on extremely, extremely thin people. These were impressive in that they got at least 6 full inches of penetration.

Thanks for the link as it has been a while since I have seen that particular test. Bruce does fantastic work and really puts a lot into his production.

Alas, I have been unable to convince him to use 10% ordnance gelatin, as the σ and ρ parameters for CBG change whenever the manufacturer decides to 'tweak' the CBG formula.

if you are interested, he also has a website here: http://rimfirechannel.blogspot.com/ with tests of .22 LR ammunition. (also conducted using CBG)
