And if Hillary got the Dem nomination again, it could be you against both of them! I'd strongly suggest running on the "a case of beer in every fridge" platform and in the debates telling the Donald and Hillary that they'd make a real cute couple--fighting one minute and figuring out how to profit from office the next.

    This could be big.

You can be my campaign manager. And the only Russians I want to hear about being associated with our campaign are the hotties.

I don't want to live in a country with anything resembling a guarantee of equal outcomes.

    1. Remove government subsidies for doing nothing.
    2. Leave that job to charity.

Actually, it’s been the opposite of income inequality. But not between the top and bottom classes:

No, it only requires common sense.

There are very few open spots under bridges, overpasses, wooded areas of parks, etc that you can find where there isn't a homeless camp.
More data on the Seattle Minimum Wage Experiment.

Bottom line - high-skilled, low-income workers experience a benefit in that they got paid a little more for less hours of work (the net wage increase outweighed their loss of hours). Everyone else was hurt including the most vulnerable - low-skilled, low income workers. Businesses also took a hit and the availability of entry level jobs was reduced. All this despite Seattle experiencing a period of rapid economic growth prior to the experiment starting. The fun really starts in a couple of years in the next recession...

It seems that the benefit to skilled/experienced low earners came not from them making more per hour, but instead by commuting outside of Seattle (where the minimum wage is much lower) to make-up for the lost hours. Nice.

Of course, there is much less demand outside of Seattle for the less experienced workers and they generally don’t have the means to drive the extra distances needed to find work. So, the most vulnerable are the victims of these policies.

What pisses me off is all the carnival monkeys clapping in approval as clowns like Hanauer, Krugman, and Bergman promise how the new generation of better angles will bend the laws of economics in favor of socialism.

The ripples already spread outward. Once a national or multi-national chain develops the technology to eliminate jobs (say, taking or serving fast food orders) in the jurisdictions where the investment is supported by inflated minimum wages, they find that they are able to maximize profits by rolling that tech out to other markets well in advance of any artificial wage pressures. So $15/hr in Seattle kills entry-level job opportunities in Dallas, too.
