    442/642 Front Sight Painting

How do you guys paint the front sight on you 442/642s? Do you paint the entire top of the blade or just above the flat at the top? What paint do you use and how do you apply it? Pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Here's a thread I started when I did mine. Should be some info you can use.

For some reason I can see the front sight on my 642, with out the paint. For some of my other handguns, paint white and then with orange nail polish. This works s well as the sight paint kits and costs a lot less.
